Come Be Part of the Family
Lodge 2517 is a group of Italian-Americans in Northern Virginia who get together to eat, celebrate, and keep Italian traditions alive. If that sounds like your kind of people, we'd love to meet you.
Why Join
What You Get When You Join
Honestly? Mostly good food and good people. But also a real community — the kind where someone shows up when you need them and everyone cheers when your kid gets a scholarship.
Real Italian Culture
Cooking demos, Columbus Day dinner, the Italian Language Group, bocce — we celebrate Italian heritage the way it was meant to be: together, with food.
Friends Who Feel Like Family
Our members have known each other for years. New members become old friends fast. That's just how the Lodge works.
Giving Back
We march in the July 4th parade, support local scholarships, and pitch in for the community. It feels good to do good together.
La Bandiera Newsletter
Our monthly newsletter keeps you in the loop — event news, member updates, and the kind of stories you actually want to read.
A National Network
As part of the Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America, you're connected to hundreds of lodges and thousands of Italian-Americans across the country.
Scholarships for Your Family
Members and their families can apply for scholarships through the Virginia OSDIA Foundation. We invest in the next generation.
